Our story
SmartFab started with a simple frustration: every PCB quote took two to four business days, and every spec change meant another round-trip with a sales rep. Hardware teams were burning weeks of design cycle time on something software teams would call a command-line tool.
We built the instant quote engine first — a transparent, configurable cost model that prices any board the way a real fab estimator would, in seconds instead of days. Then we layered in the part hardware teams actually need: IPC-certified engineering review, an audited network of fabrication partners, and honest lead times that hold under pressure.
Today SmartFab supports prototype runs of one through high-volume production builds with the same DFM workflow, the same engineers, and the same transparent pricing.

IPC Class 2 & Class 3
Standard builds run to IPC-A-600 Class 2 acceptance criteria. Class 3 and Class 3A medical builds available with full documentation.
Audited Partner Network
We do not run a single fab. We qualify and continuously audit a network of partner facilities so each board lands at the right one for its tolerance, finish and turnaround.
Domestic & Overseas
